We had 37 students participate in Young, Not Silent programming throughout the year with a focus on violence prevention efforts in Cincinnati and advocating for issues that young people are passionate about. 50732 0 YALA (Youth Antiracist Leadership Academy) is a program where young people better understand themselves and the world around them by exploring who they are and how they lead. Through examining the history of racism and movements for change, participants identify ways to be a leader for justice and liberation. Earn As You Learn, an entrepreneurship program, and Hopeful Empowered Youth Fellowship program, a program designed for young people ages 14-24, to advance a regional collective impact strategy improving youth mental health outcomes. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b We maintain a mailing list and folder for our Board of Directors where reports and filings are shared to keep them apprised of the organization's finances and fiduciary actions. Board members also approve financial reports during our quarterly board meetings. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c Each year, board members are asked to disclose any conflicts of interest. The board reviews those conflicts and determines if it is able to accept the the conflicts noted. If the board is unable to accept a conflict, members will discuss a course of action to determine how to move forward.
