This process is by invitation only and is directly handled by both US based traveling missionaries and existing foreign agents. Both written, audio and video communications are employed to maintain a close relationship with each foreign agent. Various methods of review of the use of funds are employed including but not limited to review of receipts/invoices as well as pictures, video and in-person inspection of projects, programs and overall ministry work. Whenever possible, the review process is carried out by a traveling US based missionary to make in person reviews. Part VI, Line 11b In all previous years the 990-N was used - which was reviewed by both the treasurer and the president. As the 990-N is extremely short and includes only the total gross revenue for the year, the review process was very short. As this is our first full length Form 990 and we previously filed the Form 990-N postcard, AND we experienced unprecedented growth both in regions that we serve as well as the number of people that we serve, we also experienced unprecedented growth of donations (our main source of revenue) and donors who are contributing to that revenue. We are working to mature our written policies, bylaws, governing body structure/requirements and other areas which this growth and the full length Form 990 has brought to our attention. We anticipate having the majority of these areas/needs resolved by the end of the 2025 fiscal year. Regarding review of compensation of officers/trustees/key employees, there is no review process as there are NO paid officers/trustees/employees at all. As there are NO PAID officers/trustees/key employees, no committee or review process is required at this time. Part VI, Line 19 All documents were and continue to be available upon request. Part VI, Line 2 Darin Mark Shade (president) is married to Diane Lynn Shade (treasurer). However, neither president nor treasurer receives any salary or compensation in any form. All board members, officers, trustees and key employees are volunteers - no one receives any compensation. Part VI, Line 8b There are no committees, the board members make all decisions which are documented in the board meeting minutes and then are enacted by the president. The board reviews the actions and reports of the president. We experienced unprecedented growth in 2024, which necessitated filing the long form 990 rather than the 990-N. The need to file the long form also required more time than expected to prepare the filing.
