The ReStores accept donations from individuals, corporations and retail stores in the area and purchase some material for resale. In 2024, the ReStores sold 152,308 items, saving an estimated 1.8 million pounds from the landfill. 708230 Houston Habitat repairs homes damaged by Disasters such as Hurricane Harvey for low-income homeowners through our Disaster Home Repair Program. Houston Habitat helps by providing the repairs necessary to make homes safe, sanitary and secure. The Disaster Home Repair Program is accomplished through partnerships with various agencies, corporations, foundations and individuals.
