RESTRICTED RESTRICTED RESTRICTED RESTRICTED RESTRICTED RESTRICTED RESTRICTED RESTRICTED Form 990, Part III, Line 2 The National Coalition Academy (NCA) is a comprehensive training program developed by CADCA's National Coalition Institute and teaches leaders "what they need to know" (the core competencies) and "what their team needs to do" (the essential processes) to establish or maintain a highly effective anti-drug coalition.CCoVA brought this training to its members as a mini academy with specific training related to Virginia The mini academy provided learning and guidance on coalition management, productivity and sustainability. It was taught in 2 one week sessions in Richmond, VA for forty coalition members. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b The 990 was emailed to all Board members and staff of CCoVA Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c CCoVA has a Conflict of Interest Policy that each Board member signs. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 CCoVA has a paid part time staff consisting of a Coalition Coordinator, Education Coordinator and Finance Director. The current Coalition Coordinator Assumed duties 2/2022, the Education Coorindator in 2/2024 and the finance Director in 1/2022. Interviews were conducted and contracts written by the Executive board and compensation was determined. Compensation for the Coalition Coordinator was set by the Department of Behavioral Health, CCoVA's grant authority. The Finance Director and Education Coordinator compensation was set by the Board of Directors in line with the guidelines of the DBHDS grant Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 CcoVA's governing documents are maintained by the Coalition Coordinator and Executive Board and available to be reviewed upon request.
