CCR&R provides affordable professional development workshops, on-site technical assistance visits, mock assessments, current updates on child care rules and regulations and assists those who are interested in opening a new childcare facility in Wilson County. CCR&R strives to build community partnerships that focus on early childhood development. Health and Safety: 5 child care facilities received technical assistance on beyond Shape NC toward sustainability. Monthly implementation of nutrition and physical activity for 15 childcare facilities in which 650 preschoolers and 46 Early Educators participated. There were 11 workshops in Early Childhood Development and Outdoor Learning Environment impacting 1674 children based on the childcare provider's participation. 0 Early Care Educators attended training and workshops. Fifteen(15) facilities received training assistance to improve nutrition and increase indoors and outdoors physical activity utilizing Go NAP SACC and Be Active Kids. 96484 209 96484 North Carolina Pre-K (DCDEE) provides four-year-old children with high quality Pre-K classroom experiences to better prepare children for success in school. Program served 156 children paid with DCDEE funds, and 6 children paid with Smart Start funds for a total of 162 children served in five centers. Four professional development trainings were held for NC Pre-K classroom staff. Family Support: Circle of Parents had 7 parents participate with 7 children in the FY2023-2024. Triple P 4 had parent participate in FY2023-2024.
