Through networking meetings, events, and related activities, the Chamber provides opportunities that foster business growth while strengthening both the local economy and the community as a whole. The Greater Pasco Chamber of Commerce organized "Pasco Day at the Capital," an event in which members traveled to Tallahassee to meet with state legislators and policymakers to advocate for local business interests and community priorities. As part of the event, members also toured the Capitol building to gain a deeper understanding of the legislative process. In May 2025, The Greater Pasco Chamber of Commerce engaged a new CPA firm, Coastal Bay Tax & Consulting, which identified that many large deposits had been incorrectly recorded as Sales. Since the organization does not sell goods or services, this categorization was inaccurate. When attempting to reclassify these deposits, the prior firm did not provide sufficient documentation to reconcile each deposit to specific categories. Coastal Bay Tax & Consulting has verified that these deposits represent legitimate income to the organization, but without supporting detail they must remain classified as Miscellaneous Income. The Chamber has since implemented corrected accounting procedures with its new CPA firm to ensure deposits are categorized properly in future years.
