Line 28) Bradford County Farm Bureau participated in Food Check-Out Week. This week commemorates the valuable contributions made by farmers to society by providing an abundant supply of nutritious food. Farm Bureau educates the public on the number of locally grown produce which can be afforded on a limited budget. Line 29) Showing an animal at the County Fair fosters responsibility, organizational skills, leadership skills and sportsmanship. Bradford County Farm Bureau strongly encourages the development of these skills in our youth by sponsoring the livestock program at the fair. Line 30) Through the Farm-City Week, Bradford County highlights the positive impact agriculture has made in the local economy and the importance of agriculture in our community to support and provide jobs.
