Upon approval from the Grant Committee, a check is forwarded to the appropriate party. The Fund policy is that financial grants will be issued directly to creditors or other third parties and not directly to the grant recipient. For example, most times the Fund will directly pay a hospital for a medical bill or a landlord for rent expense, on behalf of the grant recipient. A grant recipient must provide compelling reasons to the Grant Committee explaining their request and exception to this policy.
