The delay occurred because a transition in accounting staff, unexpected illness of financial personnel comity. The organization acted in good faith and did not willfully neglect its filing obligation. Once the issue was resolve, we took immediate steps to complete and submit the return. We have also implemented procedures to ensure timely filing in the future, including 1.engaging an external accounting firm, 2 establishing internal compliance deadlines. We respectfully request that the penalty be waived as the late filing was due to circumstances beyond our control, and corrective actions have been taken to prevent recurrence.
