The purpose of Owosso Pride Inc. is to create a safe and inclusive environment in the greater Owosso area in which the LGBTQ+ community may flourish. Owosso Pride provides programs and events that foster inclusion, support, and visibility for the LGBTQ+ community and allies in Shiawassee County. In 2025, the organization hosted the annual Pride Festival, which welcomed over 1,500 attendees and featured local performers, resource vendors, and family-friendly activities. The event provided a safe and welcoming space for LGBTQ+ individuals and their families while connecting them to supportive community organizations. In addition, Owosso Pride organized educational workshops and community gatherings throughout the year.
