This amount is paid in a lump sum along with the installment owed under the plan. Schedule J, Part I, Line 4 Ariel created a non-qualified Supplemental Executive Retirement Plan (the plan) in September of 2017 for the member/directors of the Executive Management Team. The employees participating in the plan are the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Regional Director, Deputy Director and the Director of Adult Services. The plan provides for payments after retirement. No benefits/compensation are paid until the triggering event (reaching of age 65). The Deputy Director retired on December 31, 2023, resulting in payout of her benefit in 2024 in the amount of $325,927. Prior to that, all "compensation" was accrued only. The amounts that have been accrued for plan participants are listed on Schedule J, Part II, Column (c).
