Part VI, Line 2 Board member Andrew Burdette and employee Wendy Burdette are son and mother. Andrew serves as a voting member of the board and Wendy participates in governance in her capacity as an employee in accordance with the organizations bylaws. Part VI, Line 3 During the reporting period FEED Seven Generations contracted with Tahoma Peak Solutions to provide event planning sponsor outreach vendor coordination and workshop development services for the planned Native Grown & Gathered Food Expo. These activities were part of advance preparations for a future event and all oversight and final decision-making authority remained with FEEDs officers and board. Part VI, Line 11a The Finance and Grants Director prepares the draft Form 990. The draft is provided to the Program Director and Board of Directors for review before filing allowing adequate time for questions discussion and approval. Part VI, Line 15 Compensation for officers and key employees is determined using market data from the Washington State Department of Labor and other such fair market value sources. The Executive Committee or independent board members review comparability data deliberate in meetings and document decisions in meeting minutes when necessary.
