We took a selection of music that was particularly relevant to the time of year and the areas to which we were traveling. It included Easter music, music with German and Austrian roots, and some music from the Holocaust. In addition, we took a selection of sacred American folk music. Our mission to share light and connect people with the Divine was highlighted as we shared connections across cultures, paid homage to the great composers of music history, and built upon the great musical history of these countries. 24442 0 27457 The primary way that we accomplish our purpose is by performing throughout Salt Lake and Utah Counties. Our choirs performed at the following venues during the 23-24 season: Zion Lutheran Church (Milcreek), St. Mary's Cathedral (Park City), First Baptist Church (Salt Lake City), and the Salt Lake Tabernacle at Temple Square. We had combined audience of over 4000 people across the season. our Easter concert at Temple Square was free to the public. We invited other community choirs to participate in the Easter concert, creating further connections and fostering interfaith respect and benevolence. Leaders of various churches across Salt Lake City were encouraged to invite their congregations to the event. As a result, we don't have the data required for Part III sections A and B available. If the IRS needs that information, we can gather as much as possible and provide it. That totaled to about 2700 for each of them. Schedule J, Part I, Line 1b We did not have a written policy about covering travel fees for volunteer coordinators for tour. We are in the process of drafting language for those policies for our handbook. Form 990, Part I, Line 8 Previously, our gross receipts had not exceeded the threshold that requires filing of a 990. Consequently, the column with previous years' totals were left unreported. We switched directors of finance halfway through the year. As a the new one, I struggled getting my hands on all the records necessary to fulfill my role. I filed an extension and postmarked the paperwork on the extended deadline. Because I had attempted to file them on paper, they were mailed back to me stating the requirement that they be filed online. I was out of the country until July 7th and didn't receive that written notice until July 11th. I have since taken steps to make sure that the return was filed promptly.
