Hyattsville Aging in Place ran a successful food security program, including working with Meals on Wheels, delivering 1.6 tons of fresh fruit and vegetables and occasional hot meals and other treats. Ten volunteers delivered food at least twice a month to 35-40 households. 12667 11439 Hyattsville Aging in Place provided monthly online programming, begun during the pandemic and continuing, bringing experts and creative people from our area to explain their programs. The program included communications, social media, and follow-up YouTube programs. Average sameday audiences were 30-40, but often higher depending on the speaker.
