After review and discussion at the Board level, a vote is taken to approve the Form 990 and thereafter, this document is transmitted out the IRS. A copy is retained on file for future reference. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12 At the beginning of each year,usually during the 1st Board meeting, a conflict of Interest memoranum is signed by each Board member expressively asserting that there are no conflict of interest between the Board member and the Organization, Cheyenne Center, Inc. In addition, during its annual audit examination, a conflict of interest and fraud questionnaries are sent out to each Board member for verification by the independent Auditors for completeness. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 All hiring and compensation structure of key personnel management staff are approved at the Board of Directors level.This is a standard procedure in the Organization. The immediate supervisory staff , usually the Executive Director makes the appropriate recommendation to the Board of Directors before raises are approved.
