Each Sholarship fund tracks the donations, payments, and balances remaining. Awards are given annually, based on the applicant's continued enrollment that qualifies for that award. To receive the funds, the applicant must provide documentation for each payment of their enrollment. Teacher Grants are also tracked in this similar manner. Teachers submit request for funding for special projects that would not be paid by the school district. Requests are then selected based on their specific merits. The teacher must then submit receipts for all purchases, and in return are reimbursed for those funds. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 8b Committees are advisory to the board, and do not make decisions on behalf of the full board. All recommendations or purchases are brought to the full board for a vote. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b Upon completion of the 990, the President, former president, and Treasurer met and reviewed the document. Once submitted, the other board members received a copy for review, and copies are available upon request on our website. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 All governing documents are made available to the public upon request in writing. Once they have requested a document, we provide them with a link to our website area where the documents are stored. Form 990, Part IX, Line 11g Support person for administrative duties, such as printing, mailing, website support and other miscellaneous administrative purposes. The organization applied for an extension to our deadline and it was accepted. We faced some difficult challenges within our organization with turnover this year which caused us to apply for the extension. Therefore, we are not late in our filing of this form.
