The Treasurer, Daniel Ingram, is the son-in-law of Board Member Linda Morgan. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6 The Fire Department is partially supported via General Public Membership within our designated response area. Members are billed annual dues on their County Property Tax Statements. Each membership has one vote. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7a An annual meeting is held each year in December to conduct business including setting annual dues amounts, election of directors, and addressing changes in the by-laws. The Board meets monthly to receive report of fire department activity and conduct business within the guidelines of the by-laws. Monthly meetings include presentation of financial reports, calls responses, maintenance of trucks and buildings, training, membership reports, etc. Annual and monthly meeting minutes are recorded. Notice of the times of annual and monthly meetings are published and meetings are open to the public. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7b The Fire Department membership must vote on and approve all changes to the by-laws. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b Form 990 and supporting Schedules are provided to each board member for their review before filing. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 The Fire Department's corporate by-laws, meeting minutes, and financial statements are available to the public upon request.
