In our research for how to file the first tax return with the new tax year, we found what was a credible sight that the first tax return filed on a short calendar year should be mailed in with "Short Year - Change of Tax Year" hand written on the top of page 1 of form 990. We see now that that was incorrect advise and are e-filing this tax return form 990.
