This agency shall have no representation on the Board and no voting privileges. Class 3 - Business Affiliate - This is a for-profit vendor of goods and/or services. This category has no voting privileges. Class 4 - Advocate - This includes any individual interested in the welfare of children and families in Missouri. This category has no voting privileges. Pt VI, Line 7b Bylaw amendments recommended by the Board have to be approved by the membership. Pt VI, Line 11b A preliminary copy of the Form 990 is provided to the CEO to review prior to filing. Pt VI, Line 12c At the first board meeting of each year, each board member is required to complete a Conflict Of Interest form and submit it to the CEO. The Executive Committee of the Board reviews the submissions to identify relationships between board members. Board business/agendas are reviewed each month for potential conflicts of interest issues. Should such an issue arise from the agenda, the affected member will recuse himself/herself from a vote in the matter. Should an issue arise spontaneously during board business, the Chairman will ask impacted members to recuse themselves, or if necessary, the item may be tabled for further review of its conflict of interest ramifications.
