Line 28) Calhoun-Gulf Cty Farm Bureau participated in Agriculture in the Classroom at a local elementary school. Age appropriate books and activities were presented to teach students the importance of agriculture. Line 29) We participated in the area Peanut Butter Challenge during Farm City Week to stomp out hunger in our community. Farm City Week is used to celebrate and recognize the partnerships between rural and urban communities that make our food supply safe and plentiful. Line 30) Calhoun-Gulf County Farm Bureau supports the local FFA and 4-H programs. We provide opportunities for students to interact with local farmers and ranchers and continue to gain an appreciation for agriculture's impact in our communiities.
