This situation is ignored by our local public agencies. Funding develops by donations from the general public and from financial savings of our 501c3 owners. There is no profit in our work. We began in 2000 and have existed as a 501c3 since 2011. We are active with our Facebook page and maintain a stillwatercathaven.blogspot.com. We have a PayPal donation link. Our adoption efforts at the local Petsmart have increased public awareness. Amazon Smile and Chewy have wish list items which have produced donations. We have participated in the annual Northstate Giving Tuesday online fundraiser for several years with significant results. We support our main employees with part-time pay to supplement low incomes.
