Funds are made available to verified, exempt cause needs according to the budget approved by the Board of Directors. For educational scholarships, the Director of Mission receives reports from students and their educational institutions at the end of each academic term. For other programs that receive grants, the Director of Mission participates and oversees the distribution and use of funds. Receipts and reports are prepared, submitted, and maintained by the organization. Schedule F, Part I, Line 3 The Book Accounting method was used to track and document expenses based on Generally Accepted Accounting Principles of the United States. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b The Form 990 was prepared by the Director of Communications using data provided by the Bookkeeper alongside a financial compilation prepared by an independent CPA. The Form 990 was reviewed by the Director of Missions, submitted to the Board of Directors, and approved by the Board Chairperson prior to filing. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c Throughout the year, officers, directors/trustees, and key employees were required to disclose interests that could give rise to conflicts. Opportunities were provided during management and board meetings to disclose potential conflicts of interest for discussion and review. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 Salary and compensation data for the employee as well as contractors is reviewed annually by the Board of Directors. Any salary adjustments are approved by the Board of Directors in the organization's annual budget. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 18 Our organization is a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) and submits annual 990 forms and independent financial compilation reports to be reviewed and publicly posted on ECFA's website. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 GMM's governing and policy documents along with financial statements are available upon request. An independent financial compilation and transparency review is conducted each year and the results are posted on the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability website. GMM filed a request for extension to submit our 990 return which was approved. Therefore we are now submitting within the allocated window.
