Other By listening to individuals, providing superior health services, equipping mothers and dads with high-quality resources, and sharing trustworthy information concerning sex, reproduction & Gods love - at no cost to those served regardless of their race, religion, sex, national origin, socio-economic status or any other demographic - LifeSpring Pregnancy Centers pursues its goal to encourage women and strengthen families throughout the Commonwealths Central Piedmont Region: The City of Charlottesville plus Albemarle, Buckingham, Culpeper, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, Madison, Nelson, Orange and Rappahannock counties. Other LifeSpring Pregnancy Centers is the premier provider of medical care & information, patient advocacy & post-abortive support, sexual risk avoidance, grief counseling services, and personalized resource referrals. On Campuses and in both urban & rural communities, the Christian 501(C)(3) does not charge or bill patients. Still, it can assist neighbors in times of crisis because of the continued cultivation & sacrifices of individual, business & church partners. Other LifeSpring Pregnancy Centers purpose is to: A) reach more patients through additional medical services like STI/D testing and treatment; B) care for clients holistically by making strategic partnerships & referral systems with various health & human service agencies; C) witness increases in the number of decisions for life since adopting a patient advocacy approach that offers compassion; D) hear confessions & cries, commitments & re-dedications to Christ, in addition to a clear presentation of the gospel by trained volunteers or staff at each of the three centers; and E) only offer new or like new items to families who deserve the best regardless of their financial circumstances. Other All funding for LifeSpring Pregnancy Centers was provided by donations to our organization. The Treasurer and each voting member of the board receives a copy of the final Form 990 prior to the filing with the Internal Revenue Service. The executive director and the board monitor and enforce the policy by holding all business and governance transactions up for scrutiny against the conflict-of-interest policy. Conflicts are reviewed by the entire board, absent the direct or party who has the conflict of interest. Pt VI, Line 15a FORM 990, PART VI, SECTION B, LINE 15A: Pt VI, Line 15a LifeSpring Pregnancy Centers utilizes the resources of Care Net to provide guidance for the approved salary of the Executive Director position. Care Net provides support to the largest network of pregnancy centers in North America. Care Net collaborated with HeartBeat International to conduct their biennial salary survey using a total of 1,000 Care Net pregnancy centers and collects the salary data for nine of the most common employment positions in pregnancy centers. These 1,000 centers were surveyed, representing nine regions across the United States. The data in this survey reflect the salaries paid at pregnancy centers throughout the Care Net network. All salary data is reported in averages. Average salaries are given for each of the nine positions based on budget size and geographical region. States are grouped in regions according to guidelines established by the U.S. Census Bureau. Reported salaries do not include medical benefits or other fringe benefits. Salaries are also broken down between full-time and part-time positions. Average hours worked are reported for each part-time position, both salaried and hourly. The most reported position was that of the Executive Director. These survey results represent the 2020 survey produced by Care Net and Heartbeat, the most current survey available. LifeSpring Pregnancy Centers utilizes the Care Net Survey and other geographic data for similar positions in the Central Virginia area to set the Executive Directors salary. Pt VI, Line 15a In addition to the Executive Director, officers of the organization shall consist of a Chairperson, Vice-chairperson, Secretary, and a Treasurer. Other than the Executive Director, no officer of the Lifespring Pregnancy Centers shall receive directly or indirectly any salary or compensation. Pt VI, Line 18 FORM 990, PART VI, SECTION C, Line 18: Pt VI, Line 18 LifeSpring Pregnancy Centers Form 1023 and Form 990 are stored at the Centers administrative office and are available upon request. Pt VI, Line 19 FORM 990, PART VI, SECTION C, LINE 19: Pt VI, Line 19 The governing documents, conflict of interest policy, and financial statements can be distributed to the public upon request. However, requests are subject to the approval of the Executive Director and the Centers consideration of the intended use of the requested documents.
