The Association shall achieve this purpose through trade litigation actions brought in accordance with the voting requirements of Article VI, Section 6 of these Bylaws, including, but not limited to: 1. initiating and participating in proceedings related to antidumping and countervailing duties, Section 201 import relief, Section 232 national security duties, Section 301 actions, provisions for dispute settlement in the World Trade Organization (WTO) or any other remedies available under the unfair trade laws; and 2. combatting circumvention and evasion of duties on U.S. imports of OCTG. The Association shall also focus on achieving its purpose through other actions, which will require separate funding as approved by the Board, including but not limited to: 1. the application of non-MFN (most-favored-nation) tariffs to U.S. imports of OCTG produced from steel that was melted and poured in Russia or such other countries subject to similar circumstances; 2. influencing policy as it pertains to the carbon content of OCTG imports as well as other policies related to the environmental, social, and governance aspects related to OCTG imports; 3. influencing environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG_ policy and the broader political landscape related to the OCTG industry; 4. knowledge sharing and education of industry subject matter experts; 5. cooperating with other industries and organizations in furtherance of the foregoing purposes, or incidental thereto; 6. increasing awareness, understanding and support for the domestic OCTG industry amongst internal and external stakeholders -including members of local, state, and federal governments; media; and the community; and 7. promoting stand-out industry initiatives in the areas of environmental protection, safety, people development and technology.
