Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 3 From July 1st, 2023, Ian Shannon's status changed from MRNC employee to Put NC First LLC employee, providing the same services to MRNC as before but under a management services contract under which a majority of his time is dedicated to MRNC, with a minority portion of his time being dedicated to the work of Put NC First. Elizabeth Byrum was hired by Put NC First on Nov. 20, 2023, offering her services to MRNC under a similar contract where 100% of her time is dedicated to MRNC. While Put NC First was the employer of record for Ian Shannon and Elizabeth Byrum under these contracts, MRNC's Board, by-laws, and organizational policies are its own and MRNC directed their activities independent of Put NC First. In 2023, both staff members are treated as common law employees of MRNC and their compensation is reported as such on MRNC's 990.
