The association has also purchased numerous other collectibles, ephemera, relics, and memorabilia related to the unit and WW2 and has also placed them on display. Our Regimental Heritage Initiative (RHI) also includes the construction and installation of unit-specific wartime contributions (i.e. replica "Rhino" plows installed on M5 Stuart and M4 Sherman tanks) at select locations in the US. Schedule D, Part III, Line 4 The association has uniforms dating back to 1890 through the present day. We also have artifacts from when the unit was 100% cavalry along with wartime memorabilia and relics that have been placed on public display. We also have unit records from WW1, the Mexican Border campaign (1916), WW1 (1917-1918, and WW2 (1941-1945). These items are used to educate the public on the many contributions and sacrifices that the unit and its members made during these conflicts. North America (including Canada and Mexico, but not the United States) 1 9 Speaking at Seminars or Conferences We operate out of the NJARNG armory in West Orange, NJ. We conduct meetings and veteran events at this location as well as off-site. A number of our members have been conducting lectures and information discussions at a variety of venues in New Jersey as well as at the National WW2 Museum in New Orleans. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c The Association takes care to ensure that all disbursements for iyems or services do not constitute a conflict of intere4st with our Officers, Trustees, or members. A Request for Extension of Filing was filed with the IRS earlier this year. Our Treasurer is suffering from kidney failure requiring frequent dialysis, so we filed for an extension to allow more time for him to prepare a financial synopsis/rollup for CY2023.
