The previous school operated as an Ohio Domestic Nonprofit Corporation with separate financial records, tax accounts and a FEIN. Form 990, Part III, Line 3 Spectrum Growth Inc. began operations on May 6, 2022 by assuming the operations of an existing school . The previous school operated as an Ohio Domestic Nonprofit Corporation with separate financial records, tax accounts and a FEIN. Form 990, Part V, Line 1a Spectrum Growth contracted with Infinity Schools to provide all educational and on-site management staff as well as all management professional services. Spectrum Growth does not have any employees. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 3 Spectrum Growth contracted with Infinity Schools to provide all management services. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b Infinity Schools prepares Form 990 and all Schedules as part of the financial services required under the management agreement with Spectrum Growth. Once completed, copies are emailed to Infinity Schools executive staff and then forwarded to Spectrum Growth board members. Board members are given on business week to review the entire Form 990. Responses are made to Board members for any questions and/or comments. If necessary, changes are made to the appropriate form or schedule. The CFO then signs page 1 of Form 990 and mails an original to the appropriate address. The Board will then adopt the Form 990 at their next scheduled Board meeting. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 Salaries and compensation packages are based on comparable salaries and and compensation packages in the geographic area of the school. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 Spectrum Growth will provide copies of all governing documents, conflict of interest policy, and financial statements upon request to the extent and in a manner consistent with the laws and regulations of the State of Ohio as well as any Federal laws and regulations. Form 990, Part IX, Line 11a All school staff and operations staff are provided under contract with Infinity Schools. Form 990, Part IX, Line 24e All other expenses are as follows: For Program Services - Background & Fingerprint = $846; Awards & Recognitions = $70; and Miscellaneous = $2,127 for a total of $3,043. For Management & General Expenses - Background & Fingerprint = $94; Bank Fees = $ 737; Dues, Licenses & Fees = $5,477; Awards & Recognitions = $4,850; and Miscellaneous = $709 for a total of $11,867. The books of record were in the control of an individual who did not take care to properly record transactions or file necessary reports. Upon realization that reports were not being filed and transactions were not being properly recorded the person was relieved of duties new personnel took over control of the financial records. This occurred during September 2023. Financial activity had to be recreated from scratch to verify accuracy. Operations from May 2022 to December 2022 were completed in May 2024. Operations for 2023 are under review. An extension for 2023 has been filed as of May 15, 2024 for 2023. We anticipate 2023 operations to be completed by the end of July or early August 2024.
