In 2023 the organization used 6% of the endowment for operation. Pt VI, Line 6 Categories of Membership are open door(consumer) and general(all others). Both categoreis have the same rights. Membership is open to all persons sympathetic to the purposes of the organization and may be obtained by application and payment of dues for the current year. Pt VI, Line 7a Members nominate the Board of Directors Pt VI, Line 11b The Executive Director reviews the Form 990 with the Accountant and then presents it to the Board of Directors and allows for comments before the form 990 is filed each year. Pt VI, Line 12c The Board of Directors reviews the policy and annually discusses any potential conflicts of interest. A statement is signed yearly by each member of the Board of Directors stating that they do not have any conflicts of interest. If a conflict is determined to exist, the person abstains from voting and may be asked to leave the room based on the circumstances of the conflict, as decided by the Board of Directors.
