Being the hub of community presentations for Spokane, we welcomed these amazing community groups; Christian Youth Theater joined us for 48 days where over 50 children practice and present a musical over a two-week timeframe. In the month of June, 4 local dance schools presented their yearly recitals and Eastern Washington University presented their yearly film festival. Northwest Passages, a local non-profit, presented four author events to the community partnering with a local bookstore highlighting the importance of literacy. (Continued on Schedule O)During the month of September, My Turn Theater, a local production company who provides the tools, opportunity, and support for adults with disabilities to experience the comradery and sense of achievement found in performance theater joined us for seven days and presented their rendition of Beauty and the Beast to delighted audiences. We hosted Eastern Washington University's Music Department and the Spokane Jazz Orchestra continued with the program of 5 shows per year at our Community Theater.
