We are a network of volunteers and 2 employees from Christian Churches in Northern Nevada helping meet the needs and assisting immigrants refugees and international students scholars and visiting professors in finding housing household goods and furniture. We also picked up international students from the airport when they first arrived and took them to their new residence and helped them out on shopping trips. 0 0 LCF Volunteers and staff also provided driving lessons and assistance to Internationals in getting their drivers licenses. Socially we helped Internationals meet new people in Reno through social activities such as dinners with local families churches welcome BBQs trips to local sites snow shoeing hiking and lake days with local volunteers as well as other celebrations so that they can meet new people and build friendships. 0 0 We help international students and refugees meet up with local families and churches for meals and activities such as holiday events local events find jobs get language help driving lessons and friendship friendship building in the community.
