Membership is available to all alumni, friends and supporters of Middletown High School by paying the annual membership dues and subscribing to the By-Laws and rules of MHSSC. Pt VI, Line 7a Yes, members vote annually to appoint the President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer. Once elected, the incoming Executive Board appoints seven sports Directors. Pt VI, Line 11b After completion, the Accountant provides the Form 990 to the MHSSC Treasurer for review and approval prior to filing the return. The Treasurer then provides copies of the approved Form 990 to the Board of Directors at the next regularly scheduled Board meeting. Pt VI, Line 19 MHSSC's governing documents are made available to the public upon request. Pt XI Part XI, Line 9, Prior Period Adjustment, reflects a $3,143 incease to retained earnings. In preparing the FY End 6/30/23 Form 990 it was determined there was an error in the ending bank account balance at 6/30/2022. That difference is the PPA of $3,143.
