This includes everything to focus on the quality of life for the animals while they are in our care. This includes dog food, over the counter meds, supplements, collars, harnesses, leashes, lost pet recovery supplies, water buckets, bowls, shading, traps, supplies to equip van, items to keep up maintenance on 2.5 acres, and more. Everything to provide direct care to the animals. Another large expense is rent and utilities $11,941.71. It provides shelter and sanctuary for the animals. PGE is up when its extreme temperatures. We also have misting systems with fans. A freezer to rotate out water bottles, and electric heaters. We also play music when needed for calming. Another expense is vet bills $7,200.22. We try to prevent emergencies from our years of experience. This is for urgent matters not at emergency and routine spays/neuters, dentals etc. The remaining expenses are gas meal and travel since we are volunteering 24/7 caring for animals, rescuing animals and searching for lost animals or animals suffering in urgent need. We also have fencing repairs often and services for education on rehabilitation for the animals in our care.
