Part III response or note to any other line in Part III Program Service Accomplishments:In-the-Community Projects:Mentor Project-mostly on hiatus post-pandemic. Hired a peer mentor to build relationships with other organizations for resources and referrals for mentees.COVID-19 Assistance and Support-We continued to provide financial assistance to folks impacted by quarantine and isolation due to COVID-19 positive tests and/or symptoms. This assistance included support for housing costs, food, and utilities. Though the nature of the grant we worked under focused on the ex-convict population, we were required to assist anyone in the community needing assistance.Prison InReach Projects-these were on hold due to pandemic restrictions that barred us from entering the prison. We did begin the renewal process for recertifying volunteers who are allowed to go into the prison with Oregon Department of Corrections Volunteer IDs. This would allow us to restart our in-prison classes when pandemic restrictions were lifted.
