Schedule J, Part I, Line 4 Donna Brown the Executive Director receives compensation for a portion of her retirement weekly Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b The entire Board of Directors receives a draft copy of the Form 990 at a Board Meeting for review prior to submission. The document is fully discussed then a vote taken to authorize the submission of the finalized Form 990 to the IRS submission. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 The Budget Committee drafts recommendations for employee compensation each year. Officers are not compensated. The Budget Committee determines compensation by comparison to similar job titles and similar size agencies, the roles and responsibilities associated with a position, longevity and the number of employees supervised. The recommendations are then reviewed and debated by the full Board of Directors. After discussion and deliberation, the Board approves the rates of compensation by vote as part of the approval process by the Board on the final operating budget. There is no conflict of interest policy currently as none of the Directors receive compensations or consideration for performing their duties. However, there is a mandatory Code of Conduct policy, to which all the Board Members and employees must subscribe.
