In our commitment to support the rare disease community, we sponsored a child who has a rare form of T-cell lymphoma to depart the Republic of Congo for specialized treatment in the United States. The child came to the US with his Mom. Airline tickets and insurance were paid for by the organization (receipt attached). Celeste, the child, arrived in the US in early December and commenced treatment immediately. In the U.S., we organized the Tour of Maryland in support of the Rare Disease Community, commencing in July. The initiative covered Prince George's and Montgomery counties, and the program is currently ongoing. Abroad, through medical missions in Congo Brazzaville, we supported the Health Center of Mvoumvou and the Adolph Sice Hospital.
