After they received the mini-grant, they were asked to supply a brief narrative and a photo to show the committee how they have used the mini-grant. For student scholarships, the funds can be used for any educational expense the students incur in their post-secondary educational pursuits. In the scholarship application, they are asked to explain what they will do after high school. We do not require any reporting on how the scholarship is used. The scholarship recipients are well-known to The Go Green Initiative, and most will have worked with us all four years of their high school career. For amounts granted to schools and school districts as incentives, based on the amounts and familiarity with the grantees, specific monitoring procedures are not considered necessary.
