We create recovery pathways through education, promotion, accountability, and advocacy for use of proven strategies and innovation among collaborative members. Harm reduction strategies are also utilized to reduce overdoses and disease from drug usage until recovery can happen. Several community forums were held to better explain substance use disorder and reduce stigma. Employer outreach was conducted to place those in recovery into gainful employment. Helped provide for basic human needs through the support of the Ross County Recovery and Outreach Center. Six harm reduction vending machines were installed throughout the county. Met on a regular basis with community partners to share information and to fill gaps in the community's recovery efforts.
