We do this by providing funding for research on the ground conservation efforts while also providing free education and awareness programs. Continued to provide funding for Friends of Nature Nepal to aid in their effort to do an ecological study in the Annapurna Conservation Area. They were able to finish it in 2023 and moved on to a neighboring area to also do an ecological study. Currently working with conflict resolution in the Annapurna area. 3000 3400 IUCN conference support. We provided travel cost coverage and conference logistical support. The IUCN Dhole Working group meets every 5 years in person. The first one in 2018 had 13 people in attendance, due to travel issues. Only a few of the dhole range countries were in attendance. In 2023's conference we had over 30 attendees and most of the range countries in attendance. 0 3704 Started an ecology project in Cambodia in the Cardamom Mountains. This area is between two national parks Botum Sakor National Park and Southern Cardamoms Nationa Park. This has been seen to be a wildlife highway. Dholes are known to be in the area, but their abundance and ecology is not well understood in the area. 0 2000 Promoted the World Dhole Day event. Expanded into more global organizations.
