MTC accomplishes this through frontline Christians who want to make Christ known in their communities, and who desire to work in collaboration with local churches ready to disciple every child reached so that every child reached will have the opportunity to be discipled by a well-trained church.Mission to Childrens FEED strategy is a bold and exciting new framework that charity uses to develop international partnerships. The acronym stands for Find-Evangelize-Engage-Disciple. The framework enables Mission to Children to combine the best of global discipleship movements with country-level programs that feed, evangelize, and disciple children at risk around the world. The value of Mission to Childrens FEED framework is that it highlights the unity of the global church by enjoining collaborative organizations of the Christian faith, promoting the strengths of organization to best help children at risk in distressed and under-resourced communities. Utilizing its FEED framework, MTC developed a partnership with 1for50, a global movement equipping Christian nationals in multiple countries with training and discipleship curriculum for children. MTC currently points inquiries from potential field partners to 1for50 resources and training. MTC envisions that by partnering with 1for50: 1) Funded outreaches would help 1for50 participants into practice what they learned through the training. 2) Funded outreaches would feed children both physically with a meal and spiritually with Gods word. 3) Funded outreaches would connect well-trained churches to childrenand children to well-trained churches in the 1for50network. The next step in this partnership is to identify a regional leader to carry out the fieldwork.GOSPEL OUTREACHESSouth AsiaIn India, we collaborated with an established Christian ministry that ministers to lower-caste children. Because of this collaboration, we were able to support gospel outreaches to about 30 communities, feeding 1,500 children physically with a meal and spiritually with Gods word. AfricaIn Uganda, we collaborated with various ministry associates supporting gospel outreaches to about 9 communities in the Kampala area, feeding 5,000 children physically with a meal and spiritually with Gods word. Over 2,100 children and adults professed faith in Christ as a result of those outreaches. Field reports from that year indicated that a number of those children have continued in regular discipleship programs at various Ugandan churches.In Zambia: MTC developed a new partnership to feed, evangelize, and disciple street children within its FEED framework.In Malawi: MTC developed a new partnership to feed, evangelize, and disciple street children within its FEED framework.VIRTUAL PRAYER WALKOur virtual prayer walk is a way for North Americans to explore a slum in Kolkata, India. The viewer is taken through the slum while learning how one front-line Christian reaches children in India despite religious, language, and cultural barriers. Along with this virtual prayer walk that is available at missiontochildren.org, Mission to Children also developed a downloadable prayer guide that complements the images in the video. As specified in the Ministrys Partnerships Agreements, all foreign organizations must report on the use of the grants they may receive from the Ministry. The Ministry also has a detailed donor system and financial system which allows them to track income and spending each month. These reports are reviewed monthly by management to ensure that each program expense is authorized and accounted for. Donor receipts and partner invoices are both maintained and issued by the Ministry. The Ministrys leadership is in contact with foreign organizations that receive any monetary support to confirm that the amounts sent are used for the intended charitable purposes of Mission to Children. The Ministry pays 100% of wages, and the Canadian charity reimburses the Ministry for the costs of the individuals who provide services for them.
