However, local youth livestock show/fairs and other local agriculture programs and organizations have a local existence and are known to be organizations who benefit the local community and youth. Pt VI, Line 1a An executive committee, when appointed, has the authority to conduct affairs of the organization between regular board meetings, but the committee is under the direct supervision of the board of directors at all times, and all action of the committee must be ratified at the following board of directors meeting. Members of the County Farm Bureau are also members of the American Farm Bureau, a national agricultural organization that also works for the betterment of agriculture. County Farm Bureau volunteers also help organize their members into separate agricultural commodity interests and participate in matters dealing with legislation that affects agriculture.
