Part VI, Line 12c The Indiana County Fair monitors the Conflict of Interest Policy by conducting periodic reviews of the policy as well as performing an annual review to ensure that all directors, principal officers, and members of the association committees understand the policy and agree to comply. The periodic reviews income but are not limited to; determining whether compensation arrangements are reasonable and result the arms' length bargaining; determining whether business arrangements created reflect reasonable investment for payment for goods and services and do not result in impermissible benefit. The Indiana County Fair Association must determine whether a conflict exists, address a determined conflict and enforce a violation in accordance with the policy. Part VI, Line 19 Notice is posted during fair week and it is announced during the annual corporate meeting that governing documents, conflict of interest policy, and financial statements will be made available for inspection upon request. Additionally, all corporate members attending the annual meeting receive a paper copy of the year-end financial statements and are provided discussion about the statement. They are given an opportunity to question any part of the statement.
