Contributions to the Organization qualify for the charitable contribution deduction pursuant to IRS Section 170(b)(1)(A)(vi) and has been classified as an organization that is a public charity under Section 509(a)(1). The tax-exempt purpose of the Organization and the nature in which it operates is described above. Management believes the Organization continues to operate in compliance with its tax-exempt purpose. Thus, no provision for income tax has been provided for in the financial statements. The Organization has adopted the requirements for accounting for uncertain tax positions and management has determined that the Organization was not required to record a liability related to uncertain tax positions as of December 31, 2023. The Organization's annual information and income tax returns filed with the federal and state governments are subject to examination generally for three years after they are filed. All filings are current. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 3 Technical Registration Experts manages the organization's administration, meeting management and bookkeeping services. Only Board members have bank account access. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 11b The Treasurer reviews the tax form prior to filing. After the Treasurer's review and approval, the form are emailed to the Board. Board members will have a period of 10 days to review and provide feedback to the Treasurer and Accountant. After the 10 days expire, the forms will be submitted to the IRS. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 12c The conflict of interest form is available online, to be completed at least annually or when potential conflicts occur. Forms are reviewed by the Board. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, line 19 Financial statements and conflict of interest policy available upon request. Form 990, Part XII, line 2c: The process did not change from the prior year.
