Theses payments are for food, shelter and medical expenses. Assistance is given only to legal residents of USA. Schedule I, Part I, Line 2 The organizations only provides monetary grants to cover living expenses incurred in USA for individuals who are lawful residents of USA. The organizations reviews recipients government issued IDs, residency permits, utility bills and other documents that establish identity and residency. Recipients are individuals who are economically challenged. No single individual received grants assistance of more than $5,000 in one year. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b The Treasurers reviews the Form 990 for accuracy and ties it to the organization's financial statements. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 Loudoun Islamic Center is a religious non-profit under IRS 501(c)(3). It is mosque run by volunteers 100% and it does not have any paid members. All our welcome to attend our religious services. We have periodic town hall meetings whereby we inform the community about the governing body, our financial position, our programs etc. We put posters in our premises about our routing events, communities members rights and our responsibilities. Our tax filings are open for public inspection and it is available to the general public. Form 990, Part IX, Line 24e Every year, the organization organizes two general public prayers services (Ramadan and Eid) for greater Loudoun County for which it has to rent a large conference room in a public facility incurring an expenses of $5,000. The organization also organizes two community picnics every year at public parks. Picnic expenses for facility rentals and food for the picnics were $2,000. WE filed for and received extension from the IRS up to November 15, 2024.
