Many of these clients have psychological or physiological issues that make normal clothing pantries unable to provide what is needed. We are given the clothing details by local school councilors and they provide the clothes directly to the clients at their school. Meals 12702 26439 0 FMV We provide meals most nights of the week. The meals are open to everyone. Food Pantry 2990 15145 0 FMV This is the cost of the food we stock in our clients choice food pantry. The grantee is provided an item allotment every 90 days. The item allotment is based on the amount and types of foods available (example meat is sometimes 1 item per family, sometimes 3, depending on supply). Then the grantee "shops" the pantry and chooses what foods to pick. This creates less waste because grantees get what they want. This also helps grantees work with food restrictions. House of Hope 35 14260 0 FMV This organization provides a prison back to society program that teaches those just coming out of prison how to live in society and save money and pay bills. Childrens Christmas Toys 311 12064 0 FMV In December, we have a Saturday that we give out toys to people who have been recommended by their school councilors. Each child is granted 3 toys that are age appropriate, or a single bike. This has become a very busy toy giveaway, with word of mouth bringing hundreds more than originally planned. We have been able to meet this demand due to community support. Schedule I, Part I, Line 2 Grantees are provided assistance towards rent or utilities. Normally the amount is $75, but it can be more if necessary. The funds are written by check, or paid online, directly to the person or group the grantee owes the money to, or paid directly to the utility company and credited to the grantee's account. Special cases for extra client rent monies are related to Family Promise work. Form 990, Part III, Line 3 House of Hope became its own 501c3. As a result, their accounts (which were managed separately from Greater Works) were closed and opened under their own 501c3. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 2 Robert Hill (CEO/President) and Darlene Hill (Board Member) are spouses. However, each have the right to vote independently of each other. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b This year the tax return was sent to each of the board members VIA email and each board member responded with approval to file. This was due to scheduling issues and health issues with the Treasurer. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 14 Greater Works follows the Federal guidelines for Record Retention Practices. All financial and services documents are disposed, after the proper retention time, with a secure documents disposal company. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 There are no paid employees or officers of Dalton's Greater Works so we do not need to review the payment practices of the organization. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 18 A copy of the 990 (minus contributor documentation) is available in the business office, along with the Annual Report to any person who requests it. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 We do not have these documents, but we are available to discuss any concerns with any donors, volunteers, or friends that receive services. Form 990, Part XI, Line 9 We purchased a building with a value of $328,131 This return is not late. We filed 8868 for a 6 Month extension. Post was mailed on May 13 2024 and a return receipt was received June 24 2024. It is being sent before the six month extension.
