This years primary focus was Literacy. Literacy program "Today a Reader Tomorrow a Leader" Provided books and education on the values of service to children in Carroll County. The program addressed the lack of books and educational resources in impoverished homes which can hinder childrens chances of success. Nearly 1,700 books were distributed to all county 3rd grade students elementary school media centers pediatrician offices preschools daycare centers and libraries. 10000 2140 Literacy program donation to the Ferst Foundation of Carroll County.
