The information in this return is based on information received from JMG and that it plans to present to its auditors. Pt VI, Line 2 Two of the Board members are a married couple. Pt VI, Line 12c There is a written conflict of interest policy, and the Board currently monitors this through much communication and reminders to all contractors. Pt VI, Line 15a Compensation for the Executive Director/CEO was agreed to by the grantors for all three grants and the additional compensation paid by JMG was determined based on compensation of similar positions at similar size nonprofit organizations. The Board determined this compensation using outside sources and consultation. Pt VI, Line 15b Compensation of key contractors was determined by the Board using information on compensation paid by other nonprofits for similar positions and consultation with experts. Pt VI, Line 19 JMG makes key documents available to the public upon request. Pt XII, Line 2c JMG has a Board and a very active Executive Director who are responsible for the financial statements. They contracted with financial staff and a CPA to help them compile the financial statements and maintain the accounting records for 2023. Pt XII, Line 3b JMG was required to have their financial statements audited for 2023 but had some difficulty finding an independent auditor for a nonprofit of its size to meet the due date for this audit. It has started the process and have provided some documents to its auditors. The information in this 990 is based on unaudited amounts and is the best information that JMG can provide at this time. Pt VI, Line 11b The Executive Director and some of JMGs key contractors reviewed this 990 before it was submitted. It was not submitted to the Board, but it is available to all Board members and will be available to the public upon request.
