An annual meeting of the shareholder/members is held to elect the board members. Proper notification as to the time and place of the meeting is given as is the procedure for nominating and voting for the Board of Directors. This board is responsible for the decision making process of the corporation. At the annual meeting the customer/shareholders vote to ratify or reject the actions taken by the Board of Directors. This board meets monthly in open session to review the operation of the Corporation and to conduct any other business needed to direct the affairs of the Corporation. Minutes of all meetings of the Board are recorded and are available for public inspection at the Corporation's office during regular business hours. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 7a Each water customer is required to purchase a refundable stock membership in the Corporation. This stock also serves as a refundable deposit which the customer must redeem when they pay their final billing and terminate water service with the Corporation.
