Once the draft of the Form 990 is obtained from the audit firm, it is reviewed and sent to the President and Chairman. Any issues or questions are discussed by the President and Chairman and then sent to the audit firm. When the Form 990 is in draft form it is sent to the audit committee with comments from the Chairman for review, and then filed with the IRS. Forms 990 and audited financial statements are distributed to the board during annual meetings. Hard copies are also sent to those who are not present at the board meeting. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 15 The President's compensation is determined by the Chairman with the Executive Committee and is not obligatory to be annual. It is documented by the Chairman of the Board by a letter to the President. Key employee compensation is determined by merit on an annual basis along with other criteria, including comparability data. Raises are not necessarily given each year. The issue is determined by budget and in conversations with Board Chairman and President.
