In preparation for this, Break A Difference applied for its own 501c3 early in 2020 and was granted its 501c3 status on May 10, 2020. That year, the COVID-19 pandemic provided barriers that delayed Break A Difference from moving its operations from WRAG to Break A Difference's 501c3. During that time, I and our Directors made the mistake of not filing 3-years of 990's, that have zero (0) income, expenses or operations as all operations remained with its fiscal sponsor, WRAG. Break A Difference started to transition operations to its 501c3 on August 2023 and is actively move all operations to its 501c3 by December 31, 2023.
