Members or stockholder classes and rights Part VI line 6 The organization has the following classifications of members: Bargaining unit member including: regular carriers, part-time flexible rural carriers, substitute rural carriers, rural carrier associates, rural carrier reliefs, auxiliary rural carriers, assistant rural carriers, rural carriers in the armed forces of our country provided they were members when their dueties began; retired member; associate member; retired associate member; honorary state member. Bargaining unit members and retired members have the right to vote. Member election for additional members Part VI line 7a Voting members elect the executive board. Governing body decisions Part VI line 7b The constitution shall take effect upon adoption and may be amended at any annual convention by two-thirds roll call vote of all delegates present and voting. Form 990 governing body review Part VI line 11 The prepared Form 990 is reviewed and approved by the members of the governing body before the return is filed with the IRS. Conflict of interest policy compliance Part VI line 12c Annually all directors and officers complete and sign a statement that provides information regarding their interests and those of their family members that could give rise to conflicts.
